Vulval skin is prone to many disorders which can affect skin elsewhere on the body including eczema and psoriasis. However there are many specific disorders which can manifest as discomfort, itch, rash and pain. Accurate early diagnosis can save months or even years of trouble. These can often lead to relationship problems, as intercourse can become quite painful. Dr Ladwig has been a member of the Vulval Society for many years and regularly attends update meetings.
